Instagram is an image-based platform that has greatly affected our lifestyle and how we perceive everything around us. From offering us relationship goals, vacation destination ideas, and viral reels, Instagram is one of the most addictive social networking sites. The popularity of the platform, particularly among Millennials and Gen Z, resulted in its acquisition by Facebook for $1 billion in 2012.
Instagram promoted the idea that anyone with a smartphone could now capture a photo and apply filters to it to make it more visually appealing. As smartphones now come with attractive cameras, it has become convenient for content creators to interact with their target audience on Instagram.
Introduced in 2016, Instagram’s Story feature received backlash due to its similarity to Snapchat’s My Story feature. Instagram stories allow users to post images and videos in a slideshow format. Stories on Instagram usually last 24 hours unless you make them a highlight. In the highlights section, you can see your previously saved stories.
You can customize and design your Instagram stories by adding emoticons, music, and GIFs. This feature is beneficial when you don’t want to create tons of posts but want to share some quick updates with your followers. But what if you delete an Instagram story and later regret it? Or what happens when you delete your Instagram story by mistake? Is there any way to recover it? Please read the following section of our blog carefully to find the answer to your question.
